than 80 percent of youth receiving SSI or Concurrent benefits
indicated that they were currently receiving Medicaid, while
only 26 percent of SSDI recipients were Medicaid beneficiaries.
Although SSDI beneficiaries were more likely to have private
health insurance, they were less likely to receive subsidized
housing and food stamps than the other two groups. In general,
the overall percentage of individuals receiving benefits was
quite low.
