| More
than 90 percent of those individuals who received intensive
benefit support through the BPAO Program were either employed
or in the process of seeking employment, as were over 75 percent
of those who received I & R/Problem Solving. Most were currently
not working but had an interest in changing their employment
status, particularly those receiving the more intensive benefit
services. Nearly 60 percent of each group indicated that they
were not employed, but were actively seeking employment, and
nearly 30 percent of those who received intensive benefit support
and 17 percent of those who received I & R/Problem Solving
were currently employed part-time, working less than 30 hours
a week. Less than six percent of intensive benefit support beneficiaries
indicated that they were employed full-time, working 30 or more
hours a week, as did almost four percent of I & R/Problem
Solving beneficiaries. In contrast to about eight percent of
intensive benefit support beneficiaries, nearly 18 percent of
I & R/Problem Solving beneficiaries indicated that they
were not currently employed and were not seeking employment.
