National BPAO Program Intakes Per Month: February '01 - January '03

The BPAO Program continues to expand rapidly, providing an array of services to SSDI and SSI beneficiaries that will ultimately enable an increasingly diverse population of people with disabilities to fulfill their goals of returning to work and achieving self-sufficiency.

The graph below shows the monthly rate of intake from February 2001 to January 2003. Some distinct patterns emerge over the course of a calendar year. First, there is a sharp increase in enrollment beginning in February 2002, which coincided with the initial release of the Ticket to Work (TTW) in 2002. Second, the enrollment rate alternately rises and falls between July and October, then steadily decreases from October to December, before increasing again in January. Despite these annual fluctuations, it is clear that the overall rate of participant intake has been increasing over time.

This is a graph of National BPAO Intakes beginning February 2001 through January 2003.
