Training Options

Web Course

This web-based course is a required training program for all BPAO and PABSS project members who will be providing direct service to SSA beneficiaries and recipients. The course consists of modules on each of the federal transfer programs contained in Chapters 13 - 18 of the BPAO manual. Components of the course include audio lectures with accompanying handouts to supplement the material contained in the manual, exercises, opportunities for exchange of information with instructors/participants, and links to sites with additional information and resources.

Each BPAO and PABSS project member must register for and successfully complete the course requirements. Once registered, the course is self-directed and each participant has one month to complete the course requirements. Each participant must successfully complete this training session as soon as possible after completing the initial course.
